Obituary of Juan Morales
Born April 11th 1916 in San Juan Puerto Rico, Juan Riviera Morales lived for over a century. He arrived to the city of New York in the years just after the Second World War. He lived briefly in Manhattan’s Hells Kitchen, before settling in Brooklyn where he would spend the remainder of his many long years. He married his wife Felicita in 1951 and they would go on to have seven children over the course of more than 65 years of marriage. His life was his family. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and was a source of constant love and support. He was a legendary storyteller, even in his later years, being able to recall the exact day or date something that had occurred. His generosity knew no bounds and anyone who’s ever crossed his path would attest to that. He is survived by his beloved wife Felicita, his children Irma, Sylvia, Nancy and Juan, 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
